"Thank you! And I’ve lived here for only a couple of years." She laughed, pulling out a black vase from the kitchen cupboard. "I do live by myself, however I’m not always alone~ I do get company on some nights. And don’t make me out to be some kind of damsel in distress, because at the moment your currently the most dangerous thing in my house."
Filling the modern-looking vase with a small amount of water, she put each flower in and arranged the bouquet to suit her tastes.
"They look wonderful on my table, I may buy myself some more…" She mused to herself.
He smirked widely at her ‘dangerous’ comment. “Of course I am~. Good thing you can recognize it, shows that you have decent senses.” He cheered proudly, ego swelling to fill the room.
He eyed her as she made her way around the kitchen, prepping the flowers according to his advice, piping up again when she admired them on the table. “I offered to get you some properly potted ones.”
"You did, but your wonderful company is more than enough to satisfy my wants and I have to go to the florist to pick up some flowers for the cemetery on a weekly basis."
She turned, facing him with an expectant look on her face. “Well, now that’s sorted, I think I’m just about ready to go.”
